Submit
to your government, evil or not. WRONG
Romans 13:1-4; 1. Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.
For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of
God. 2. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the
ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves
damnation. 3. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the
evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good,
and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4. For he is the minister of
God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for
he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a
revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Obey and submit to your government when it is good, otherwise
let others know of their evil and be a minister of God. This doesn't
say bring wrath upon the ones who do not submit to any government. If
you are to obey an evil government like China is today then you must
kill your unborn child if you have one already (abortion) which then
God is telling you to commit sin.
Be a friend of any government. WRONG
James 4:4; Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the
friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be
a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
If you are friends of an evil government, or anyone in that
govenment, you are an enemy of God.
Speak only when the government wants
you to. WRONG
Acts 4:17-20; 17. But that it spread no further among the people,
let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in
this name. 18. And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at
all nor teach in the name of Jesus. 19. But Peter and John answered and
said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto
you more than unto God, judge ye. 20. For we cannot but speak the
things which we have seen and heard.'
Peter and James still spoke out when they were told NOT to
obey God, but only the government.
Ignore everything that is not of the
Lord. WRONG
Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not
the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take
any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his
blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
If you see the evil in the world go and tell your brother of
this.
You can serve Two Masters and have no
conflict. WRONG
Matthew 6:24; No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate
the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and
despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
You cannot have too bosses at the same time that have you
doing one thing for one boss that is contrary to the other one.
The government loves Christians and
their organizations. WRONG
John 15:19; If ye were of the world, the world would love his own:
but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the
world, therefore the world hateth you.
Why does the government shut down churches if they abide by
the Constitution? The first amendment is violated when churches are
mandated to be 501(c)(3) corporations.
Pay taxes to the Federal Reserve.
WRONG
Luke 20:22-25; 22. Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar,
or no? 23. But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why
tempt ye me? 24. Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath
it? They answered and said, Caesar's. 25. And he said unto them, Render
therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the
things which be God's.
The currency has Federal Reserve on it, a private company,
but you pay taxes to the U.S. Treasury.
Pay the government the taxes they
tell you to. WRONG
Romans 13:6-7; 6. For this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are
God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7. Render
therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to
whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
Pay only what is due and not the taxes illegally enforced,
'income' taxes.
We should accept to pay the 'usury'
that the government mandates. WRONG
Nehemiah 5:4-8; 4. There were also that said, We have borrowed
money for the king's tribute, and that upon our lands and vineyards. 5.
Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as
their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our
daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto
bondage already: neither is it in our power to redeem them; for other
men have our lands and vineyards. 6. And I was very angry when I heard
their cry and these words. 7. Then I consulted with myself, and I
rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, Ye exact usury,
every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them. 8.
And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren
the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your
brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace,
and found nothing to answer.
USURY - The
civil or criminal wrong of charging interest that is beyond the legal
limit set by a State.
Usury use:
Accumulate all wealth into the hands of the money lenders.
Work for an evil government. WRONG
Matthew 9:9; And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man,
named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him,
Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
Joseph Banister followed the truth when it came to him, and
he resigned as an IRS agent.
Churches should become tax exempt
corporations. WRONG
Ezra 7:24; Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests
and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of
God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon
them.
This does not say to be a 501(c)(3) corporation and be tax
exempt, but to be a 1st Amendment church with no laws at all.
